My Only Hope | Sweet Finale

Since October 2008,we have been following the complicated love story of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, and today is the Sweet Finale of Your Song’s My Only Hope. The show was really a tear jerker. Especially whenever Keeno is continuously hurting April whenever he refuses to tell the truth about how they had accidentally killed his father. So many lessons can be learned about love and life in the show. I also like the wisdom of Fifi. All in all, albeit there were a few bad performances done by “some” it was still worth watching it.

By the way, I am actually looking forward to see Alex Gonzaga in more shows. My mom even thought that she is much prettier than Toni, in which I disagree. (lol)

Some of the most promising stars of this generation…

ABS-CBN’s Your Song presents : My Only Hope

The title and the theme song is popularly known to be Mandy Moore’s original song in the movie “A Walk To Remember” and again revived by David Achuleta an American Idol Runner Up.

Some of the scenes where taped in Boracay. This was followed by a taping session in Manila. The story revolves around love and knowing one’s true identity.

Some of the cast went through reinvention and are now sporting new looks like Gerald Anderson a rugged Emo boy as Keemo, a rich guy who has a dark past sports (hmm, that explains this handsome dirty looks of him lol), the Pinay My Girl former beauty queen Nina Jose is Jessie now “the scarred lady”, Enchong is Jhun the matured down to earth chef, while Kim is April– still the sunny girl we know. They say that these new characters shall mirror the lifestyle and culture of the Filipino youth today.

Directed by Don Cuaresma and Jojo Saguin, and will premiere this October 5 on ABS-CBN.

Definitely, this month’s Your Song featured episode “My Only Hope” is not a part 2 of My Girl… but because of its success – luckily we can see again the My Girl Barkada cast in My Only Hope which will start on October 5.

Stars includes Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Niña Jose, Enchong Dee, Alex Gonzaga, Regine Angeles, David Chua, Carlo Guevarra and Xian Lim.
