Heart Surgery is suggested when the doctor recognizes a problem that can cause heart failure, such as defect of coronary artery.

Surgery is also needed when the heart failure consequently results difficulty and can not be aided with medications or dietary and lifestyle changes. Heart failure is the reason of a diseased heart valve. It controls the flow of blood inside the heart. When the heart valve does not work correctly, this puts extra strain on the heart and can lead to heart failure. Some people have a progressive heart failure that cannot be aided by medications and dietary and lifestyle changes. In that reason, a heart transplant may be the only successful treatment option.
